No. Just keep using VS 2008 for that.

Sure, you can file pretty much anything as a bug. But since this is by design it would be simply closed as "By design".
I do not know whatever it will be available in the future or not. Even if somebody knows, there's no way for this person to tell as all product plans are confidential. My guess would be no. It is more likely in my opinion (and yes, that is just an opinion) CE 7 would eventually get support for NETCF 3.7 (AKA Silverlite mobile), Forms and other old stuff is probably gone forever.
Well, "they" would have to find a way to keep you on VS 2008 until you no longer need to support older WM. VS 2010 can be installed side by side with VS 2008, so you can have both at the same time. I would guess it should be even possible to invoke VS 2008 build system from VS 2010 if needed.
SDK won't really help you here, in fact it's not used that much for managed development (not to count emulator image and deployment hooks). Actual project support and build rules are in VS itself and these are not in VS 2010 AFAIK. So it probably won't work, sorry.

Only problem with that is they will be moving us off of VS2008 at the end of summer. Is this a no, period or no not right now but maybe in the future?Any way to get the VS2008 SDK to work on VS2010 for Mobile?
