Sharepoint workflows + LS on Azure approaches? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have an HTML Lightswitch app we're working on that we deploy to Azure, works great, no problems with it.

We would like to integrate workflows into it for future development and have wondered how best to do it.  Well, Michael Washington knocked it out of the park yet again with his most recent blog post and showed how to use sharepoint workflows in a LS app.

My question is-- for a company that is using LS on Azure, what's the easiest way to get sharepoint workflows into the mix?  My knowledge of sharepoint on Azure is zero and I wasn't sure if customers would have to have a full sharepoint installation already in place to do this, or can you do a quick SP instance on Azure that won't cost an arm and a leg?  All we'd really need here are the sharepoint workflows and not much else.  I'm open to suggestions.  Thanks everyone.
