Auto Generate a Project Id in Project Online (PWA) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am interested in auto generating a 'Next Available" Project Id in Project Online/PWA 2013. I need to have a sequential number created with a static 3 alpha-character prefix every time a NEW project is created. When engineers create a project this is what will used as a project id. The Project ID needs to be created as a column item and once generated be non-editable. I see there is a script called SPUtility.js which is suppose to auto gen a number in SharePoint. Any info is greatly appreciated.
