adding a custom web part to my list view have break my page inside mobile views RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working on sharepoint server 2013. and i have a team site collection with mobile browser view enabled. now i have added the following web part from codeplex http://splistviewfilter.codeplex.com/ which provides an advance search for my list view. now the problem i am facing after i added the above web part to my list views, is that when i try to access the list view from a mobile device i will get this error:-

now i am not trying to force the web part to work on mobile devices as it will be a huge work and i am not the owner of the web part.. so what i am trying to achieve is if i can force sharepoint to bypass this web part inside mobile devices so the list view will be shown correctly on mobile devices without the advance search web part .. is this possible ?

  • Hi,

Try to append ?mobile=0 for the url to make it available for mobile view, something like this:

    https://company.sharepoint.com/list/customForm.aspx?mobile=0

let me clarify my situation better as seems you did not understand my original problem...  now i added the web part to my list views pages, so currently the list views have the following urls:-

    1. /lists/projects/project.aspx

    2. /lists/projects/allitems.apsx

so not sure how i can append mobile=0 to these list views urls ??. also i still want users to access the list views using the mobile friendly interface ,, i do not want to disable it on these list views.. so my question was if i can bypass the content editor web part which is causing the problem on mobile devices , so the list view will render in a mobile friendly way on mobile screens without showing the problematic web part ?? or the best appraoch if i can force the content editor web part to be rendered in a mobile friendly way ..
