Debug "F5" hangs my wpf application

    Question

  • After installing update 2 VS2015 my application run with F5 locks without giving any exception. If you run without debugging, working properly.
With VS2015 update 1 working properly.
    Some idea ?

  • Hi Stefano74,

Just to make this issue clearly, whether all WPF apps have the same issue? For example, just create a default blank WPF app, if you debug it, how about the result?

    (1) Restart your machine, re-open your project, clean and rebuild the solution, debug it again.

    (2) If just the specific app has this issue, just create a blank solution, and then add all WPF files to the new blank solution, clean and rebuild the solution, debug it again, so we could know that whether it is related to the project files.

(3)If all WPF projects have the same issue, maybe you could repair your VS or the single Update 2. Check it again.

Of course, please make sure that it is not the performance issue from the Task Manager.

If you get any latest information, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Jack
