Grouping projects into programs(project server 2010) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Please is it possible to group projects in the project centre into different programs( a collection of realated projects)

    how can this be acheived?

    To do this, your Project Server administrator should create a custom enterprise Project field that lists the names of your company's programs.  Then each PM will need to select a value in this field using the Project Information dialog each time he/she creates a new project.  Then the custom field would need to be added to a default or custom Project Center view with grouping applied to that field.  Hope this helps.
