Offline Sync in iOS without Core Data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I want  my Mobile service tables to be synchronized at offline scenario. I found a sample from this link:
    https://github.com/Azure/azure-mobile-services/tree/master/quickstart/iOS

Here this example project is using CoreData for synchronizing tables to local data base.. But i want to sync tables data  without using CoreData and only with SQLite.. How to achieve this? Can anyone help me with the sample code?

    Thanks,

  • This is not currently supported out of the box on iOS, we only currently provide an option to use CoreData.

It would be possible to use SQLite, but a fair amount of work.  Essentially, in order to do this, you would need to create a class that conforms the MSSyncContextDataSource protocol, and give that as the datasource to your sync context class.
