Where is column RES_SECURITY_GUID ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I use Project Server 2013 and want to query member on each security group.

After I search any website, it should to query column RES_SECURITY_GUID = WRES_GUID but I can't find RES_SECURITY_GUID it in any table.(In example, it should on MSP.RESOURCES)

Could anybody have any suggestion for this problem?

    Thank you :)

  • Hi,

you can try with this query that searches for column names:

SELECT name FROM sysobjects WHERE id IN ( SELECT id FROM syscolumns WHERE name like '%RES_SECURITY_GUID%' )

Just change the database name in "Available databases" dropdown.

  • Hi,

    Try the below query

SELECT  WSG.WSEC_GRP_NAME AS [Group], R.RES_NAME AS Member
    FROM   pub.MSP_WEB_SECURITY_GROUPS AS WSG
    INNER JOIN  pub.MSP_WEB_SECURITY_GROUP_MEMBERS AS WSGM ON WSG.WSEC_GRP_GUID = WSGM.WSEC_GRP_GUID
inner join pub.MSP_WEB_SECURITY_CLAIMS AS WSC on WSC.SECURITY_GUID=wsgm.wres_guid
    INNER JOIN   pub.MSP_RESOURCES AS R ON WSC.ENCODED_CLAIM = R.WRES_ACCOUNT
    ORDER  BY [Group], Member
