High memory requirement RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

On Dev Center Dashboard under the

Details| Published app details| Hardware requirements it displays:
    "High memory" requirement

    Why it is displayed?

How can I remove this requirement? because my app works on low memory devices

Also on the windows phone marketplace under the app requires part it displays: "*Not available for all phones"

But because my app can work on low memory devices I would like to support all Windows Phone and I would like to remove this "*Not available for all phones" note. How can I do that?

(I do not use the opt out option on the WMAppManifest.xml file)

    Thanks,
    Tom

  • Hello Tom,

Based on the information you provided it appears that you may have opted out. You will need to update your app manifest and resubmit your app. The documentation on this is here.

  • Hello Eric,

I'm _NOT_ opted out the low memory devices.

  • Hello,

It seems to me that this is a bug on the DevCenter.

Does anyone have info about this issue?

  • Can we expect this DevCenter bug will ever be solved?

  • hello eric,

we have the same problems to distribute our app on low memory devices(7.1) like Tom.
In WMAppManifest.xml no requirement is registered to opt out low memory devices.
What can we do to solve this problem.

    Best regards,

    Jörn Petersen

  • Yes, the agents sent me meaningfull replays like :

"I'm going to review your app in question and when I have more information I will be sure to update you. " or " I didn't forget about you we are still reviewing your issue as soon as I have more information I will be sure to pass it along to you".

So what response can I write to it?

    Is it a bad joke?
