Is there any system level API to disable AutoRotation in system level?

    Question

  • I know update the value in register table:"SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/AutoRotation/Enable" can disable /enable auto Rotation.

When disable auto rotation, at the same time, I need to set screen landscape.

But system can remember the last orientation, and any operation on desktop will re-set screen back.

While "Windows+O" has not such issue.

Is there any system API can work the same as "Windows+O"?

Answers

  • No. Windows Store apps cannot affect the system as a whole, only themselves.
