  • Question

  • Hi all,

I have only used the System.data namespace to reference the data object, such as sqlCommand. some guys tell me to there is another way using the Microsoft.Practices.enterpriselibrary.data.sql.sqldatabase. What is the difference?

  • The System.Data namespace provides ADO data access methods to SQL Server for developing applications against the database.  The Microsoft.Practices.Enterpriselibrary.data.sql.SqlDatabase namespace is a piece of the BizTalk library for hooking specific queries against SQL Server into BizTalk.

Can ADO.NET be replaced by objects provided by Microsoft.Practices.enterpriselibrary.data.sql.sqldatabase ?
