windows mobile 7 phone - sensors RRS feed

  • Question

  • At first , please have a look here:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff637514(v=VS.92).aspx

Each Windows Phone will contain the following hardware elements:

  • A standard suite of sensors - A-GPS, accelerometer, compass, light, proximity - for interacting with the phone’s location, orientation, and environment.

Not all sensors are available for developer interaction. Developers can currently access the A-GPS, the camera, and the accelerometer

When will be compass and light sensors available for developer interaction? Mainly compass should be accessible ASAP. I use brand new htc HD7 phone, which all 5 sensors are built in.
