Disable adding Team Members RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    i have TFS 2017.2 and I have setup AD security groups per project ( Project X Admins and Project X Contributors )

    By IT policy only domain admins can add/remove users from these groups and TFS respectively. 

    My problem here is that project admins can create Teams in TFS and manage membership, which screw all IT securities and administration. I would like project admins to be able to do almost all tasks in TFS besides managing team members, only collection admins should be able to do that. I saw that if I remove " edit team level information " permission they will not be allowed to manage teams, but this also disable areas and iterations which is no go for me.

    Please advice

    There isn’t the way to just disable adding team members.
