AdlCopy - Copy failure error (no detail)

    Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to use ADLCopy between two instances of ADLS across two subscriptions. I'm a super user on both subscriptions and have also followed the advice on a similar thread that advises explicity adding a myself as a workaround for an ADLCopy bug.I have double checked the paths and everything appears to be correct.

When I run ADLCopy I see this output:

    Initializing Copy

    Access Denied

    Copy Failed.

is there any way I can see more detailed error details ? To rule out incorrect entry of my credentials, is there a way to force a re-entry of them please?

    Thanks,

    Ben.

  • Hi Ben,

Not sure if you still have this issue. We will need more details to understand where the errors e.g. which tenants are the subscriptions - same or not, exact command you are executing. One problem I suspect is the 2 subscriptions being in different tenants.
