Deploy SSIS Package with Oracle ADO.Net Connectin RRS feed

  • Hi ,

         I'm trying to deploy my SSIS package with Connection to Oracle Data base ,I'm getting the below error .

    Description: ADO NET Source has failed to acquire the connection {ABC807A0-C8CB-4052-BEE5-A3B100798C2D} with the following error message:

    "ERROR [28000] [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied  

      ERROR [IM006] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed

      ERROR [28000] [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied  ".  End Error 

    Error: 2014-03-10 13:27:31.25     Code: 0xC0047017  

    Can anyone guide me on this ,Thanks in Advance .

  • If thats case, it will take default value which is save sensitive using userkey. And once added to the server since its not stored under your account it will throw an error as it doesnt store the password details. You need to add password as a configuration item inside package and set it through SQL Server table value or thorugh XML file to solve this

  • how are you passing username, password values for connection manager? Is it saved in package or you pass it  through config file? Also whats the protection level set for the package?

  • Its Saved in the Package .I didn't set the protection level for the package.
