I saw the info on this from link, as this link says we need to do the steps, but i don't have office installed on my server with out having that installed i can not see "Microsoft Excel Application" under DCOM Config. Is there a way to do this with out office installed on server or Having Microsoft office on on each Server QA/UAT/PREPROD/PROD is a must?

•Go to the Start-Run menu item.
•Type in "DCOMCNFG" and hit enter.
•This should load the "Component Services" MMC (you can also load from Administrative Tools - Component Services"
    •Expand "Component Services"
    •Expand "Computers"
    •Expand "My Computer"
    •Select the "DCOM Config" item
•Select the "Microsoft Excel Application" item.
    •Right click and select Properties
•Select the Security Tab and you should see the following:

See the below link for answer. You defenitely need the Microsoft Office software on the server or use XML,XSL mentioned in the below link.
