List og all RDL- and XLSX files with their Connection Strings RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

How can I list all the rdl- and xlsx files that are stored on Share Point 2013 together with their connection-strings?

Since these files use connection-files that are stored under "Data Connections", this information should be stored somewhere in a Share-Point-database.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi Sedso,

Do you want to get connection strings of all the rdl and xlsx files and store these connection strings into SharePoint Database?

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

To get connection strings of all the rdl files, you can refer the link below.

    https://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/47652/programmatically-set-data-source-link-for-ssrs-report-files

To get connection strings of all the xlsx files, you need to download the files and get connection string with the file because the connection string of  xlsx file is stored in the file.

    Best regards,

    Lee Liu
