Need to Get In progress planning window tasks in programetical way RRS feed

  • thanks for this reply ... I am in another trouble .Here I need to show those tasks that comes in Planning window (In progress) view for My Tasks .... what is the logic behind to get those tasks or any other programmatically way to find those tasks

  • Hello,

    You wont get the exact code Microsoft use but you will have to play with the logic until you match that view. What is missing / different from your view? Just update the code / logic to include / exclude those tasks that are missing / including.

  • Hello,

    This will include any tasks that fall in the current period (defaults to current week) but also tasks from previous periods that are not complete.

    Where are you getting the task information from? What is the purpose? A report? New interface for users to submit time?

    Thanks for reply ...As  you said ,yes I have to provide custom interface for task update..SO I need those task that comes in planning window : in progress ....... I get task information from Statusing service data set so guide me for this current period concept and all that and how to get this settings from EPM to get in progress task of planning window:

    The logic would be something like:

    where assignment is within the current period (usually as week) or the assignment date is before the current week and the assignment is not 100% complete.

    Yes i have done the same thing ....... still planning windows gives some wrong result.....Please guide me...or Give some links about the forum which have similer stuffs in terms of codes
