  • there are several ways ..

on system tray in the taskbar you will notice a security logo, when you put the mouse cursor on it will see a notification ask you to restart computer now or later ...

also when you try to go to website for MS windows update, will notice this message "You need to restart your computer to finish installing a program or updates. You cannot view or get other updates from the site until you restart."

and you will get a automated alert time to time asking you to restart your copmter now or later

  • Hi

    Thank you for your post.

You can get the information following way, as Sharif already told:

    ·         On system tray in the taskbar you will notice a security logo, when you put the mouse cursor on it will see a notification ask you to restart computer now or later.

    ·         When you try update your OS from MS windows update web site, will get this message "You need to restart your computer to finish installing a program or updates. You cannot view or get other updates from the site until you restart."

    ·         You will get an automated alert time to time asking you to restart your computer now or later if update is required.

    Thanks

    Tanbir
