WSAENETRESET 10052 errors RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have an application  that is running the .NET 2.5 or 3.0 framework that is receiving 10052 errors on a 64 bit platform. There is no evidence that we are receiving these errors on the 32 bit platform. the application is communicating to using the BACnet/IP protocol. This is essentially UDP packets encapsulated in IP to be able to communicate across routers. There is a server component and multiple destinations using an IP address and UDP ports. There was a tool by RegCure that is suposed to fix this. Before I suggest this to customers, I need to understand whatthe root problem is.
