Route api intermittent 503 RRS feed

  • Question

  • This just started happening to me today,

    Using the following as an example "http://dev.virtualearth.net/REST/V1/Routes/Transit?wp.0=brisbane&wp.1=sydney&timeType=Departure&dateTime=3:00:00PM&output=xml&key=yourKey" with my correct key,

    I get a valid response sometimes, however hitting that same url repeatedly i'm getting the below

    <Response xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/search/local/ws/rest/v1">

    <AuthenticationResultCode>ValidCredentials</AuthenticationResultCode>
    <ErrorDetails>
    <string>
    There's a problem with the service right now. Please try again later.
    </string>
    </ErrorDetails>

    </TraceId>
    <ResourceSets/>
    </Response>

    Is this an actual outage or am I doing something incorrectly?  If it is an outage, where can I go in future to view the status of this service?

    Cheers

    Adam
