Hi,
I have done a test in my SharePoint online.
When receiving an email, If I chose “click here”, I got the same issue with you, If I clicked the link linked to the shared site, it worked fine.
Refer to the following steps:
- Go to Admin Center, and select the site collection which will be shared with external users.
- Enable external sharing feature for the site collection.
- Go to the site collection, in the upper right corner of the screen, select Share, in the Share dialog box, type the names of the external users, select Show Options, select Send an email invitation and then select the group.
- Then the external user receive an email. From email, ” Go To Site, This is a mandatory service communication. To set your contact preferences for other communications, click here.”
- Click the shared site, then click Microsoft account, it jumps to the site collection with the external account directly.
Besides, after sharing with external users, go to Site Settings->Access requests and invitations->make sure the external users has been approved.
If this issue still exists, I suggest you create a new thread on Office 365 forum, more experts will assist you with Office 365.

Thanks Lisa. Didn't notice Go To site option, as normally click here option is used by many sites for verification purpose.
This solved my issue.
Thanks, B.J.Prasanna.
