  • Hi RockerManish,

       Please check the follwoing reference.

       Hardware Helper Library for C#

This is a helper library that can both monitor devices being added to or removed from the system, as well as a method that can successfully enable or disable any node on the device tree.

Another approach is to use the "devcon.exe" utility. It's available here. The DevCon utility is a command-line utility that acts as an alternative to Device Manager. Using DevCon, you can enable, disable, restart, update, remove, and query individual devices or groups of devices.

  • I saw the links, but I am not getting any specific leads into building the s/w

My device is a h/w device connected to computer via bluetooth as a HID.

What i simply want to do is to automate the process of enumerating the HID connected to the system, find the device I want and remove it.

Can kernell.dll in Win32 be able to remove the device from the HID list?

Can i even use a batch file to remove the h/w?

I am badly stuck, please help you great guys out there,

    Thanks for any help.
