  • Hello

i´m getting lot of troubles to publish my web site in a windows server 2008 64 bits SO

first i update to office 2007 data access and the error goes on

then i change into IIS 7.0 Properties to True the Enable 32 Bits option. and the error still

my web site is developed with VS 2005 32bits (X86).

  • To find what's the problem do this: write a console app that accesses that OLEDB, like your web app does. First, compile it for x86 and try running it on server. If it works then that OLEDB provider is registered correctly and problem lies somewhere else.

This would be my first step.

  • How is your application compiled? Is it compiled with AnyCPU option? If yes, you need to change it to x86, since ACE OLEDB 12 provider does nor support 64-bit mode, and with AnyCPU option application will run in 64-bit mode in 64-bit environment.
