Training Kit Sample "Enabling Federated Authentication for ASP.NET applications in Windows Azure" - How does autentication works

Question

Hi,

I tried with the example "Enabling Federated Authentication for ASP.NET applications in Windows Azure" from the  training kit. I did all the steps as mentioned and I got the Login to the Security token service (STS) page also, but it works with any user id and password which is not in my AD. For Ex: When I click submit with user "Adam Carter", it logins and shows the clims.

How do I know whether the user authenticated or not. Am I made any mistake? Pls clarify.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried to use the link mentioned in the reply. It works fine with the on-premise systems where the same does not work with Azure environment as the ADFS server is not exposed to public.

I have opened another thread for this, could you please provide your solution.
