Remove debug app completely

    Question

  • Hi,

My Windows 8.1 app uses ApplicationData.Current.LocalSettings.

Unfortunately, cleaning the project from Visual Studio or uninstalling manually from the start screen doesn't seem to clear this data.

How do I COMPLETELY uninstall my debug app and all of its state?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Dave,

As I know there is a API named:  ApplicationDataContainerSettings.Remove | remove , should help you to remove all local setting programmatically.

However when uninstall a app from your device, the local folder should be deleted as well.

Or could you tell us how you find your app data still exist? When I uninstall my app, my app local folder is removed too and Windows even tell me cannot find the folder.
