How can I copy A word Documents information into Excel? RRS feed

  • I have a regulated user input template in Microsoft Word. The end goal is to have a DB that captures all of the data collected through these Word forms. 

    There are two tables in the templated file. To my understanding they're both labeled "Table 1". I'm just wondering if there's a very descriptive macro out there such as an idiot proof one where I'd only have to input the name of the work doc, excel file, paths, etc in the comments of the actual code. Therefore I'd literally only have to manipulate the VBA slightly by adding the table names, file names, paths, etc.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
