Remove When information by updating meeting RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

After a long search I hope someone can answer my question over here.
We have created a windows service for exchanging appointments/meetings between our application and Exchange Server. Therefor we use EWS Managed API and pointing on Exchange Server 2007 SP1.

I found some information in posts like this:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11568699/removing-ews-appointment-body-text

    The scenario:
I create an meeting for me and someone else. After that I update the meeting using EWS. When I watch the appointment in Outlook I see the "When" information.

I readed somewhere that only EWS prepends this information to the body text. In this case I expect that there is somewhere a property which can be set for EWS to prepend this information.

For now I fixed this when getting the appointment from Exchange, I remove this information till the tiles. However, when I look in Outlook, the information is still stored.

Am I the only one which search for the solution of the When information? I should expect someone has a solution, maybe via reflection?

    Kind regards

    Wim
