  • Ask IBM for help with their product. And no, it is not a Microsoft problem just because Microsoft developed the installer software. IBM is using the software to install their software and using script(s) they wrote to do that.

  • Same here as to date Microsoft Windows 10 has been nothing but problems since it was 1st released. I too am getting the same problem and it still has not resolved itself nor has Microsoft addressed the problem with this "Windows Installer. V5.0.17763.404" pop up that refuses to every go away.  Did a search to fix this problem "NOTHING".....  Seems over the course of 7 years Microsoft has lost its customer service but yet just about every person on this plant uses Microsoft/Windows, at some point you would think that Microsoft would listen, but they don't another corporation who has gotten so large their customers do not matter anymore but as stated Microsoft has a "capture audience" but fails to protect or help reduce the many problems that as come with Windows 10..
