Subform Running Balance

Question
-
I'm using sql 2008 and Access 2007.
I've created an order type database with a form and subform using the example in the Northwinds database.
I have everything working except the running balance. In the Northwind Order Details subform there's a running Total below the new record entry.
I can't find anything in the Order Details subform that generates this running balance. I've even created a new Datasheet subform using the same query in the Order Details subform and the running balances don't appear.
Can someone please tell me what I'm missing.
Thanks,
Paul

Open the form.
Click anywhere in the subform. If it is a datasheet form, the Totals button in the Records group on the Home tab of the ribbon will be enabled. Click it.
This will add a total row. In each field in this row, there'll be a dropdown from which you can select an aggregate function (Count, Sum, Avg, ...)

Hi Paul,
When opening the Form in Access, click on Tab Home, then you see the Totals button, click on this.
Then you can change the Field into Sum for example.

I got it work. Thanks to both Hans and Danishani the frustration has ended, at least for this problem.
I wish you a great day, evening or night where ever you are.
