No input event found for my blob RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created blob as input and document db as output. When i try to get sample data it shows "NO INPUT EVENT FOUND FOR BLOB".When i check into the blob container it shows the json file. But in metrics it shows input events 0.I have uploaded single json document at 12:06:50 PM pm on 7/4/2017.Then what is the time i have to mention to get the sample data?

No events found for 'tele'. Start time: Tuesday, July 4, 2017, 5:00:05 PM End time: Tuesday, July 4, 2017, 5:05:05 PM Last time arrival: Thursday, January 1, 1970, 5:30:00 AM Diagnostics: While sampling data, no data was received from '1' partitions. s

Container modified time is 7/3/2017, 4:48:18 PM

    the path pattern is

    blocont

actually the file stored in the following location

    storage accounts>blostor>Blob service >blocont

    blocont is the container name

inside it i have stored the tele.json file

If it is connection problem means what i have to check first?

    My sample json

  • To clarify: Are you trying to use Azure Data Factory or stream analytics?

Can you, bit elaborate more on this issue?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

    I'm using stream analytics.

    I got the following error

No events found for 'tele'. Start time: Thursday, July 6, 2017, 10:20:51 AM End time: Thursday, July 6, 2017, 10:35:51 AM Last time arrival: Thursday, January 1, 1970, 5:30:00 AM Diagnostics: While sampling data, no data was received from '1' partitions.

So based on the above error i knew that there is no data arrived on that time.

But at that same time only i have uploaded the document

I have created ASA Job.Inside the job i used input as blob storage.I have uploaded a json document(I already shared the code of my json document in the above post)

But when i try to get sample data it shows no input event found.

From your link i came to know the issue is because of

If there is no input event here, there is probably a problem with the connection to your hub.

I have already shared the path pattern in the above post.

Do i have to change the path pattern?

How to fix the connection problem?

  • I got the solution.

If we store the files directly to the container then we should leave the path pattern as blank.
