    Hello everyone,

    I have the requirement to build something like this:

     ______________                ______________             ______________
    /              \              /              \           /              \
    | SERVER       |              | WEC7 COMPUTER|           | DEVICE       |
    | IP: 10.0.1.1 | --wireless-- | IP: 10.0.1.2 | --cable-- | IP: 10.0.1.3 |
    |              |              |              |           |              |
    \______________/              \______________/           \______________/

    The device must be reachable by the server in the corporate network, but it's connected by cable in the WEC7 device that is connected to the corporate network via WiFi.

    I know that it's easy to be done in an Win7,8,10,etc environment using network bridging.

    How can I accomplish this using WEC7?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Regards,
    Jeff

  • It can be easily done by enabling the routing function in your WEC7 platform:

    Please modify platform.reg or osdesign.reg and add the following key to enable routing between interfaces:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Tcpip\Parms]
       "IpEnableRouter"=dword:1

    The device will be reachable by the server on the corporate network by carefully setting subnet masks on the WEC7 device.
