Textbox issue

Question

Hi all.

I built a simple application, a demo for my coleagues, and I published it at http://www.quasar-x.it:8001/silverregexp/

Ok, I know... It's awful and incomplete but, as I said, it's just a test....

The issue is that I CAN'T write square brackets in "Reg Exp"/"Text" fields. They are standard TextBoxes...

Is this my fault, or is this a bug ?!?!?!?!?! I really can't understand.

Could you explain your issue a little more?  I went to your application and I could type squre brackets into both fields without problems.

Hi pbrooks.

I'm wondering why it works on Your side ! I just can't write square brackets into those fields.... I can't write characters that I obtain pressing "Alt Gr" + another key.

Italian Keyboard ? IE 7 ? VMWare running Windows XP ?

As You can see I can type square brackets here : [[[[ ]]]]  and also @, # !!!!!!!

But not in my application....

Hi:

  Currently there're some known issues about TextBox, especially the support for non-us keyboard is not very well. You can try to use this TextBox to see if it can solve this problem.
