  •  You can try FXCop, which is the tool that is used for the code analysis in Visual Studio (team editions). It is available separately at  http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/codeanalysis/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=553.

  • WOW!!!

    Wondering what is up with the stylesheet, though, I can't open the XML report in IE. Get this error:

    The stylesheet does not contain a document element. The stylesheet may be empty, or it may not be a well-formed XML document...

    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://www.gotdotnet.com/team/fxcop//xsl/1.35/FxCopReport.xsl"?>

  • Here's the direct link to the download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=3389F7E4-0E55-4A4D-BC74-4AEABB17997B&displaylang=en

    FX Cop was originally housed on CodeProject which was discontinued hence the invalid stylesheet reference.

  • 1.36 took away the capability to ignore assemblies that it couldn't find. I do not want to analyze things like the Crystal Report Engine or my DevExpress controls.. How do I make it skip those?
