Maximum Network Throughput RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm looking for an official Microsoft document showing what the maximum through put is for XP?  I found this site http://www.internetworkexpert.org/2008/12/19/how-to-calculate-tcp-throughput-for-long-distance-links/ and it looks to be telling me that I'm only limited in the size of the Window's TCP frame, default setting being 64KBytes and the round trip latency?  As well as hardware issues, memory, NIC and copper.  I wanted to confirm that if we had the right hardware Windows wouldn't prevent us from using the total bandwidth?
