  • Can Blob storage be secured so that deletion cannot be performed by a single user regardless of their privileges?

    Based on my understanding, if you don't want somebody have the right to delete blob storage, you could only give them the read access permission, please have a look at this article: http://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/documentation/articles/role-based-access-control-configure/, maybe the role-based access control in azure preview portal could give you some tips.

    In addition to Jambor's reply,
    The RBAC option suggested above is available only in New Azure portal.


    And as per the current azure portal, it is not possible to provide specific access level permissions for the users who can login to Management portal and are able to access all the resources in there.
    So please make sure you keep the login credentials safe.
