Sketchflow style privacy RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have got the following question.

What is the privacy statement or license agreement of Sketch flow style included in MS Expression Blend Previev for Silverlight 5 ?

I am asking this question because I wonder if I am allowed to use Sketchflow style provided in MS Expression Blend Previev for Silverlight 5 in my own Silverlight application. I just like this style and would like to use it in my application as a default style.

    Thanks in advance for response.

    Best regards,

  • There is a file included in the install directory of both Blend and the Blend SDKs that has a list of files that can be redistributed according to the license terms.

For Blend 4, the file is here on my system:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Expression\Blend 4\Redist.en.txt"

Included in that list is the project templates, which includes the sketchstyles.xaml file that has the sketchy styles.

Also, in the EULA file in the install directory, the Sketch Styles as well as the Sketch Font (BuxtonSketch) are explicitly listed in section 3.e. (in the Blend 4 version). Check that file for your installed version.
