Sleep equals Fast shutdown on my NB (Win8)

    Question

  • Hi,

for some reason Sleep doesn't work on ma Notebook, if I send it to sleep then it never wakes up again.

If I press the Power button, after I send it to sleep, the Bootmenu comes.

  • How long have you waited? Does the Eventlog tells you any details?

  • Hi Andre Ziegler,

I waited ~1/2 h one time, less at other times.

Eventlog only tels me 'The previous system shutdown at 9:45:39 AM on ‎9/‎24/‎2011 was unexpected.'

and 'The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.'
