Pushpin Background on Hover RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a set of pushpins which I am placing on a map in a loop each with the following code:

    var wtpI = new Microsoft.Maps.Pushpin(new Microsoft.Maps.Location(_wtpItem.Latitude(), _wtpItem.Longitude()), { typeName: 'wtp' + _ndx.toString(), icon: "../../Images/MyImage.png", width: 47, height: 38 });;

    This same code on another project works fine, but on my current one, hovering causes an unsightly grey background the size of the width and height. The background of the image itself is transparent.

  • Are you using the Bing Theme Module by chance? Are you able to reproduce this in a simple code sample? You are using a typeName, this gets set as the class name on the rendered pushpin. Is there something in your CSS that has this same name that might be adding the background?
