PowerPoint 2013 storyboard doesn't work as expected RRS feed

  • Question

  • The documentation at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh409276(VS.110).aspx#link_storyboard seems to indicate that you can add work items to Team Foundation Server.  In the URL http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh409276(VS.110).aspx#link_storyboard there is an image:

Yet when I use the Power Point 2013 storyboard link the equivalent dialog box looks like the following and I cannot add a work item, although the link is made to the Team Foundation Server as you can see in the title line of the image located below this sentence:

I checked the membership and I am enrolled correctly to add workitems, etc.  To confirm my connection, I was able to create a work item in Visual Studio 12 RC premium and view it in Team Foundation Server, TFS is located on my client Windows 8 workstation.

Is this a bug, or do I need to create the work item first in Team Foundation Server or is this a bug?  If it is a bug then the documentation needs to be changed.

    Fix the documentation

  • Hi Surf4Fun,

    Thank you for your post.

Storyboard Links just Link a storyboard to a work. In other word, the work item should first exists in TFS, then you can link to it through storyboard links, not use storyboard to create a new work item to TFS.
