Back Arrow on the Report Viewer RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a main report that hyperlinks to another sub-report.   The only way to go back to the main report after you're finished looking at the subreport is to click the back arrow in the report viewer.

Is there any way of triggering this functionality from another button on the web page outside of the reportviewer?

Sorry, that is the only way you could go back to the main report from a drill-through report. That being said, you can add a text box to the drill through report and set it so that when the user click on it, it will take you back to the main report.

Please go through the following blog post to get the instructions on how to do it - http://elonblackman.wordpress.com/2010/07/31/adding-a-back-button-to-a-ssrs-drill-through-report/

    Hope this helps!
