Display the dates in "All Events" view for a recurrence event of a calendar RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How to display the dates in "All Events" view for a recurrence event of a calendar. I am looking for OOB option(by creating a column and using some calculation).

    How to achieve this?

    Thank you

  • Hi ,

I understand that you want to display the dates of a recurrence event, you can use the Standard View, with Expended Recurrence Events.

    1. Open the Calendar in browser.
    2. Click List tab and choose ‘Create a view’.
    3. Select the ‘Standard View, with Expended Recurrence Events’.
    4. In this way, all the recurrence instances will show up in the view.

    Thanks,

  • Hi All,

I also faced the same and overcome with the above suggested way, Right now am facing one issue on retrieving recurrence events from calendar and to display it in Data View Web part.

Issue: I created a recurrence event in calendar, and while displaying it DVWP it displays the same date of created event to the rest of the recurrence events with the time. I used Calculated column of Start Time to display the date.

Is there any workaround to over come this to display only date of rest of recurrence events.
