Windows 2008 Task scheduler _email errors... RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created an event viewer task in windows server 2008 which checks scheduled tasks failure logged in the task scheduler log and sends an email notification(alert) in case if there are any failures. The problem is i am still getting the alerts (2000 emails still counting) even after disabling and deleting the task. The time stamps on this emails clearly shows that all this emails are queued up during the interval when i created & deleted the task. Please tell me how can i stop this emails generated on that day............which i am still receiving....
