Many Logo Print tests fail on Windows 8 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to run the Logo tests for a Printer on a Windows 8 machine. Some of tests run just fine, but for about 15 of them, the tests hang indefinitely looking for symbols until we have to manually exit them.

We get errors like below that block the task from properly starting and finishing:

"A Windows API Returned an unexpected error. Look at win32 error code in the inner error for more details. "

"Cannot Find Pattern "C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRun.......wml " Error Code 2 (The System cannot find the file specified.)"

"INFORMATION: Marking RunJob Task "Run pGremlin library job" As Failed as the LibraryJob "Copy & Run pGremlin" has Failed"

The same tests on the same device run successfully on Windows 7 machines. We have ruled out network issues.

Is there some setup step that is necessary for Windows 8 to run these tests?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • There are no special steps needed to run the test on Windows 8. It sounds your driver is causing a debugger break.
