  • Question

  • Dear all

    HCK2.0  had been decommissioned,but there was a 90-day period of use,right?

Can I submit the HCK2.0 logo file to get the HCK2.0 Certification?

  • Hi Innostar,

It'll be a waste of your effort if you are trying to get the logo for your device using HCK 2.0. MSFT won't accept the logs with HCK 2.0. Better move to HCK for Windows 8.1 (HCK 2.1) for Windows Server 2008R2 and above OSes logo and WLK 1.6 for Windows Server 2008 and below OSes.

    Thanks,

  • No you can't

HCK for Windows 8.1 RTM required for submissions as of November 30th

We'd like to remind our partners that starting November 30, 2013, submissions to the Windows Dev Center hardware dashboard must use the RTM version of the Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK) for Windows 8.1. The HCK for Windows 8.1 Preview is being retired on that date.

    Best Regards, Mike
