  • Question

  • I have sometimes a crash of my webrole. Due the crash IIS has a response timeout for about 1 minute.

That is the error if you look into the event viewer :

Session "MA_ETWSESSION_RD00155D3A5CE5_WebsiteAccelerator.Web_IN_0" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035

  • Hi,

According to http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsbackup/thread/02ac2078-ac0e-48d1-b3db-3f2e76319afb/, 0xc0000035 is harmless and can be ignored. So the issue is probably somewhere else. I would like to suggest you to make sure whether the IIS has crashed. Please try to enable intellitrace and see if there’re any exceptions thrown in your code. You can also install a debugger (such as WinDbg) on the cloud machine during a remote desktop session and debug the program.

    Best Regards,

    Ming Xu.

  • I don't think it's an IIS crash because when my website has a response timeout, the server is also not reachable with remote desktop. It's like the webrole for some reason is not reachable and I don't know why. I don't see anything special in the event viewer. I have monitoring the webrole and that are the results :
