  • Question

  • After Uprading to .Net framework 4.6.1

<Prefer32Bit>false</Prefer32Bit> tag gets added to .vbproj file.

What will be the behaviour if it is set to true or false?

  • Hi Neelam21
The purpose of "Prefer32Bit" you can refer the following thread

What is the purpose of the “Prefer 32-bit” setting in Visual Studio 2012 and how does it actually work?

Set Prefer32Bit to true will compile the project to a x86 application which can run at ARM/X64/X86/Itanium

For "TargetFrameworkProfile" please  go to  https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh264221.aspx
It specifies the subset of version of .net framework.
For the difference between client and full version of .net framework, you can see
     https://msdn.micro soft.com/en-us/library/cc656912.aspx

    Best regards,
