problems access 2007 and win 10 - RRS feed

  • Have big big  problems  with win 10 and access  - querys not working - opening read only - original settings and colours gone hay wire

    any answers on this anywhere - gotta start somewhere

  • Regarding the read-only issue, make sure that the permissions on the folder that the database resides in are properly set.  Users should have read/write/execute/delete permissions on the folder(s) containing the front and back ends.

    Regarding colors, I had similar problems when upgrading from Office 2003 to 2007.  Try different windows colors/themes (under control panel, appearance settings) as an alternative to modifying colors in your database.

    According to your description, have you installed latest Office service packs:

    How to obtain the latest service pack for the 2007 Office suite

    In addition you could copy Access database file to an other Win 10 machine, could you reproduce this issue.
