Highlight Entire Row Text Red if Error Exists in Cell in Columns F:I Conditional Format RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have custom formulas in columns F, G, H, & I.  My custom formula may return CVErr(xlErrValue) = #VALUE! in some cases.  If any cells contains an error in columns F, G, H, & I, I want to highlight the text of the entire row red.  How do I do this?

    Private Function GetZip(address As String) As Variant
    ' address is expected to be in this format "Street City, St Zip"
        Dim zip As String
        zip = Right(Trim(address), 5)
        If zip = "30233" Then
            GetZip = zip
            Exit Function
        End If
    GetZip = CVErr(xlErrValue)
    End Function
