Issue to load a route map RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi,
There is no hard limitation to the number of points, the higher number of points results in a slightly slower response, the URL you supplied worked successfully using my test Open API key, I do not believe the number of points is the issue, rather the configuration of your Open API key.

    Thanks, John.

  • Hi,
This may be related to the URL provided when creating the Open API key, it is currently set to "http://localhost".
We reccommend creating another Open API key and specify the URL of the website where the Open API will be used.

    Thanks, John.

  • Hi,
    thanks for the reply.

Now we can't try this with another key because we don't have the site in the www still. Do you know if multimapp have any number of points limitation?

    Thank you very much.

  • Hi,
Thank you very much for the reply. If the issue is only our Open API key this is a good news.

We are trying to generate another API key specifying the URL of website but we have problems to find the new API key generated. We have signed in but after we don't find the API Key, I go to mymultimap and my account but we don't see the Api Key. Where can we find the Api key generated?

Thank you very much and congratulations for your developement.

  • Hi,
    You have two options:
1:  You can update the URL of your existing Open API key, log into your MyMultimap account, in the top right hand corner click on "My Account", under "Your Open API details" there is a line with "Your registered URL(s) is/are", click on the word "update" highlighted in Blue.

2:  Create a new MyMultimap account and new Open API key, go to this link - https://www.multimap.com/my/register/?openapi_create=1 , to create the new MyMultimap account and Open API.

    Thanks, John.

  • Hi, thanks for the reply.
We have created a new Multimap acount and therefore we have
new API key (thanks for your help). If we apply this key to the url of the first
post, we get the same message error than we got with the old key(the localhost key).

Error: No client name specified So no template loaded.

We have not added nothing in our website, we need do something more? Thanks.
